WACDL Membership

Any lawyer who handles criminal defense work, and is able to attest that he or she is not a member on a regular or full-time basis of any law enforcement agency or of any local, state or federal agency engaged in the prosecution of criminal matters, is eligible to join WACDL.

Membership entitles you to participate in the WACDL listserve, an active and outstanding ongoing email-based exchange of information among Wisconsin criminal defense lawyers on developments in the law, motion and trial strategies, and practical advice and suggestions about how Judge So and So or District Attorney Mr. Crimefighter is likely to respond to a particular tactic or argument.

Members receive a quarterly newsletter with practice tips, news about your colleagues in the criminal defense bar, and legislative reports.

Members are listed in our "Find a Lawyer" directory, a marketing resource that enables potential clients to find a criminal defense lawyer.

WACDL sponsors two CLE seminars annually for members.

To join, download the membership application. Complete the application, enclose your membership dues, and mail it to WACDL, PO Box 6706, Monona, WI 53706.

Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 of each year. New members who join after May 1 receive an extra two months of membership.
