ZEN MASTER ETHICS: THE ART OF DEALING WITH DIFFICULT JUDGES, PROSECUTORS & CLIENTS
ZEN MASTER ETHICS: THE ART OF DEALING WITH DIFFICULT JUDGES, PROSECUTORS & CLIENTS
The Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is pleased to once again present its Annual Ethics Seminar designed specifically for criminal defense lawyers and offering 3 ETHICS CREDITS. So much of the value of these programs comes from others who practice criminal defense and are in the room with you, asking questions and offering insights into difficult ethical issues. This year's ethics seminar will include a great amount of opportunity to hear just that.
Chairs Jeremiah Meyer-O’Day and Corey Mehlos have put together an outstanding agenda that will dive into the ethics of dealing with difficult judges, prosecutors, and clients. The co-chairs will be joined by Attorney Andy Martinez.
Traditionally, WACDL announces the recipient of the David Niblack Award at this seminar. The purpose of this award is to recognize the contributions of an attorney to the effective defense of the indigent, either cumulative career contributions or outstanding accomplishments. Please join us in person to honor the recipient of this award and give your congratulations.
And... for the first time, our co-chairs will be hosting FRIDAY NIGHT festivities in downtown Madison, so please plan to arrive Friday evening to join your defense bar colleagues the night before the seminar. The best tellings of our trial war stories happen after dark. (Location: The Post Bar at the Park Hotel Madison)
