Attorney Maciolek was accepted to law school in 2004 and attended DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Eric made on the Dean’s list throughout a majority of his law school career consistently raking near the top of his class. In law school he focused on criminal trial lawyer skills. He was one of the top ranked students in a year-long competitive trial advocacy program. Eric excelled in advanced criminal law classes and litigated real cases even as a law student attorney in one of Chicago’s inner city felony courtrooms. Attorney Maciolek has never shied away from even the most serious of cases. Eric was an active member of DePaul’s Death Penalty Clinic which litigated real death penalty cases in Cook County, Illinois. Attorney Maciolek also interned with the Federal Defender Program in Chicago where he researched any and all aspects of federal criminal cases. Even as a law student, he tried a case in federal court where his client was facing life in prison. Upon graduation Attorney Maciolek returned to Green Bay Wisconsin, took and passed Wisconsin’s Bar Examination.
